Established in 2004, Introduction Capital (Introcap) is a boutique firm that specializes in brokering strategic business relationships between sophisticated domestic and international investors and Canadian alternative investment opportunities with a focus on Canadian hedge funds.
Introcap has deep, long standing relationships with seasoned, sophisticated investors, hedge fund managers and hundreds of industry contacts globally.
Introcap is a member of the Canadian chapter of the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) and is also a member of the Limited Market Dealers Association of Canada (LMDA). Introcap is registered with the Ontario Securities Commission as a Limited Market Dealer.

Karen first became involved in the hedge fund industry over 10 years ago, when she worked for a London based long/short equity fund as head of business development. During this period she learned all aspects of managing a hedge fund business and attended many hedge fund conferences throughout Europe and the United States where she developed International investor relationships. From there, Karen joined New York-based Asset Alliance, where she worked closely with the founders to establish a marketing and distribution platform for their affiliate hedge fund managers. Karen returned to Toronto in 2002 and joined Rogers Publishing, where she launched CanHedge magazine, a publication focusing on the Canadian hedge fund space. Karen recognized a gap in the Canadian market and the opportunity to bring International investors together with high quality Canadian hedge fund managers. Introcap was established in May 2004 to fill this gap.
